Home Bargains has slashed the price of an Oral-B electric toothbrush that "starts making your smile whiter" from day one. The retailer has reduced the Oral-B Pro Series 1 680 Electric Toothbrush + Travel Case from £59.99 to £25.
The product description reads: "Experience Oral-B Pro Series 1 from the #1 brand used by dentists worldwide. The Series 1 electric toothbrush helps you brush like your dentist recommends for 2 minutes with the professional timer and it notifies you every 30 seconds to change the area you are brushing.
"While you are just moving the brush around your mouth, Oral-B's unique round head does all the rest. It removes up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush for healthier gums, and it starts making your smile whiter as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains.

According to the specification, the "brush heads reach where rectangular manual brushes don't." It adds that you can purchase brush heads for your individual needs, with deep clean, gentle clean and whitening options available.
The product is eligible for Home Bargains' free saver delivery, available for shoppers who spend £100 on Saver Eligible items for home delivery. Otherwise, shoppers can expect to pay around £3.95 for delivery.

Dr Jarri Amini, writing for My Private Dentist, advised: "Switching to an electric toothbrush can make a significant improvement to your dental health. But not all toothbrushes are made equal."
The dentist added: "I'm often asked which type of electric toothbrush is best. Sonic technology, as used in Philips Sonicare brushes, gently vibrate and pulsate, whereas Oral B toothbrushes clean with a physical rotating/oscillating action.
"They both offer superior cleaning (compared to manual toothbrushing), and are equally dentist recommended: the choice of technology is really down to personal preference."
While Home Bargains doesn't stock any Sony toothbrushes at present, they do have a variety of electric toothbrushes on offer, including an extensive range of Oral-B models, reports the Mirror.
Current offers have seen the Oral-B Pro 1 White Electric Toothbrush discounted from £59.99 to £25 and the Oral-B Pro Kids Electric Toothbrush - Lion King reduced from £50 to £14.99.
Other discounts include the Oral-B Pro Cross Action Toothbrush Heads Refill 3 Pack, on offer from £10 to £8.99, and the Oral-B Pro-Expert Pulsar Battery Toothbrush, reduced from £7.99 to £3.99.
Home Bargains shoppers might also like the Dent X Pert Pro Rechargeable Toothbrush, from £12.99. It's available in three colours: pink, blue, and black.
